opens 26 May!
This all happened, more or less. The war parts, anyway, are pretty much true. The aliens, spaceships, human zoo and assassination, perhaps less so. But there really was a city called Dresden and it really was fire-bombed during a war that was really fought by children. And Kurt Vonnegut Jnr really did witness all that fire and death as a prisoner of war. And he wrote a book about it. And Fleur Kilpatrick really is adapting it for the stage.
It will begin like this, “Listen: Billy Pilgrim has come unstuck in time.”
It will end like this “Poo-tee-weet?”
Adapted and Directed by Fleur Kilpatrick from Kurt Vonnegut's novel
Venue: The MUST Space
Dates and times:
Thurs 26 - Sat 28 May & Tues 31 May - Sat 4 June, 7.30pm
Matinees Sat 4 June - 2.30pm, Sun 5 June - 6pm
NOISES OFF by Michael Frayn
From the Tony Award winning playwright, Michael Frayn, comes the side-splitting theatre classic, Noises Off, “a comic masterpiece.” (Daily Telegraph)
A fiendishly ingenious homage to the theatre, Noises Off presents a play within a play, and farce within farce, in what is often called the funniest play ever written.
The piece centres on a dysfunctional troupe of second-rate actors, as they rehearse and perform a B-grade British farce, ‘Nothing On’. Everything that could possibly go wrong does, as the emotional and accident-prone actors fumble their way through their regional tour.
Directed by Yvonne Virsik, Set Design by Jason Lehane
Assistant Directed by Helena Dixon & James Malcher
By arrangement with ORiGiN™ Theatrical, on behalf of Samuel French, Ltd.
Dates: May 13 – 21

Winner - Best Live Art Piece 2015 Melbourne Fringe Festival!

'Those with nothing to hide have nothing to fear.'
A fusion of site-specific installation and performance, The Ministry will take the audience on a sensory journey through secret headquarters, where what is know will become unknown and what is sane will become insane.
The MUST Container Festival - a vibrant, multi-artform showcase, 31 July - 15 August 2015, has now, sadly, come to a close. Thanks to everyone for helping to make it so special!
