Radio Monash

Radio Monash is a division of MSA that operates a digital radio station based at Monash Clayton.

For nearly 50 years, we’ve proudly been an independent platform that is committed to highlighting student voices within the Monash community. We have a proud history of representing and supporting a thriving community of presenters, journalists and musicians, all passionate about supporting student voice and representation in the media.

At Radio Monash, we provide the opportunity to gain valuable and sought-after skills in areas of radio presenting, music journalism, music and audio recording and even areas of marketing, public relations and event management.

This year, Radio Monash is back bigger and better than ever, and we have so many ways for you to get involved.

Interested in hosting? You could become a Radio Monash presenter and host one of our shows or create your own.

Love writing? Become one of our editors and work with our journalism director to develop music focused reviews, opinion pieces and interviews.

Tech more your thing? With our recording studio back in business we’re looking for a team interested in learning and operating our studio equipment, and assisting with events and productions. We’re focused primarily on sound production, but there’s also opportunity to gain skills in other areas including lighting, video production, vision switching and live streaming.

And of course, we are always looking for student artists and DJs to represent Radio Monash at events across the campus. As a Radio Monash artist, you’ll get access to paid and volunteer performance opportunities, including MSA and Monash Uni events.

We have so many exciting events and programs planned for the year ahead, the possibilities are endless. We can’t wait to see what we can create together!
