About MSA

MSA is a not-for-profit organisation, run by students for students. Being independent from the university, and run by students just like you, we're in the best position to advocate for and support student needs.

MSA's Student Council is made up of elected student representatives who look after important portfolios including Education, Welfare, and Environment; as well as autonomous communities including Women's, Queer, People of Colour, and International Students.

These representatives advocate for students throughout the year, and also organise social events and activities to keep uni life fun and engaging. All students are welcome to get involved in these departments, or one of our many other social events & activities - including theatre, clubs & societies, art classes, music drop-in, book clubs, & more.

In addition to being the hub of student life, MSA also runs a range of useful services and outlets, including Student Advocacy, MSA Training, the Recreational Library, Tax Help, and Wholefoods Vegetarian Cafe. Our aim is always to provide relevant and student-centred services - if you have questions about any aspect of uni life, you're always welcome to reach out!
