We make sure that essential welfare services are accessible to all students at Monash Clayton. The transition from secondary school to a major campus like Monash can be confusing and challenging, that’s why we’re here to offer support and tools to make things a little easier.
Our department runs a number of programs and events focused on student welfare, such as Free Food Mondays – a weekly event where you can get a vegan or vegetarian meal completely on us. We also have events like Stress Less Week – a week during the exam period where we do our best to reduce your stress levels with a series of fun and relaxing activities, like petting zoos and pop-up dog cafes.
This year, we’re focusing on mental health resources for students by working to expand the services already available to students on campus, and provide additional resources around mental health, financial welfare, drug and substance abuse and other important issues.
Whether you are in need of welfare assistance, or want to volunteer to help with the MSA welfare programs, we hope to hear from you this year.
