Host Scheme Local Functions are one of the key elements of the Host Scheme program. Held just prior to O-week, Host Scheme functions provide new students with an opportunity to meet other new students from their area prior to their first day on campus.
Functions are a fun, inexpensive and accessible way of meeting new people in their area who they may never have bumped into otherwise.
SATURDAY, JULY 21
Glen Iris: Bounce (2:45pm – 4pm)
Join us for a fantastic time at Bounce! Bounce is an indoor trampoline park where you can soar high or even have a go on the parkour course.
There is something fun for all skill and fitness levels.
Oakleigh: Pixel Bar and Cafe (6pm – 9pm)
Join us for a night of games at Pixel Bar and Cafe. Pixel has board games galore so come along and make some friends over Cranium or Articulate, before losing them in an all-out Monopoly or Catan battle.
Or if board games are less your speed, smash out some Guitar Hero, or even log in to your own Steam account and rack up some DOTA hours.
Plus, if you’re a bit hungry, the bar has plenty of food and drinks for purchase to satisfy your cravings.
