Get social and have fun before Semester Two kicks off. From Bowling to Boardgames Night, from City Scavenger Hunt to Bar Nights, there is something for everyone.
14 & 21 July 2022, 7 – 11PM
Warm up, enjoy a few drinks and meet new Monash students at our Bar Night! There will be Happy Hour drink specials until midnight, pool tables and plenty of people to strike up a conversation with; all in cozy bar! This is a free event, but registration is required. Don’t feel like coming alone? You can bring a non Monash mate, but make sure that they register as well. This is an 18+ event. Please bring Photo ID.

Unsure how to student? Want to hear the in’s and out’s from current Monash Students?Join online for MSA Chats: First Year Q&A where you and other new Monash students can talk to current students about anything Monash and beyond.This session is a safe space for new students to interact with new and current students and talk about anything from sports, news or campus life. Whatever you want to ask, we are all ears!

Looking for a quick bite and to meet some new people? Come on down to Northern plaza for some sizzling snags, some chill games and nice chats! We will provide a little bit of snack food and drinks to everyone. Dietary requirements will be catered for.
20 July 2022, 10AM – 1PM
On your marks. Get set. Go! Make new friends and familiarize yourself with Monash Clayton Campus while competing in the MSA Amazing Race. If competing isn’t your cup of tea, join us for a relaxed picnic afterwards! With prizes to be won, friends to be made and a relaxing picnic at the end, this is one not to be missed!
23 July 2022, 10AM – 7PM
Meet people, make friends, and have fun on Monash Clayton Campus! We’ll have team based challenge activities and games as well as having a bunch of Monash clubs running activities. We’ll have lunch and afternoon tea provided in between these activities on both days. An itinerary of the day will be provided closer to the event to those who register.
23 July 2022, 7 – 10PM
If you have too many random facts stuck in your brain, Trivia Night is the night for you! Come along for the banter, stay for the new friends and TOP the leaderboard! Included in your ticket is a free alcoholic drink, if you wish to purchase additional food or drinks you’re able to from the bar. Teams will be organised on the night, you are welcome to choose whoever you would like to be with. This is an 18+ event. Please bring a current & valid photo ID. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry. MSA encourages responsible consumption of alcohol.
29 – 31 July 2022
MSA Winter Orientation Camp is a great opportunity to foster lasting relationships with new and returning Monash Students. The camp will run for 3 days at the spectacular PGL Campaspe Downs Adventure Camp. There will be a mixture of fun activities and events, a themed party night and plenty of time to relax at the beautiful natural surroundings of the Campse Down Lake. This is an 18+ event. Please bring current & valid photo ID.

Leave nothing spare at the MSA Bowling Night!Bond with new friends while engaging in friendly competitive games of bowling! This night is guaranteed to be a strike! So don’t miss out.

Explore Melbourne CBD, make new friends and relax for a picnic at the Royal Botanical Gardens with the Melbourne City Scavenger hunt. There are many prizes to be won, so brush up on your Amazing Race expertise and get down!Meet new people, create a team with your mates or just come for the picnic. Whatever you choose, there is something for everyone!

If you’re looking for a relaxed way to meet new Monash students join us for a moonlight movie at Monash Clayton Campus. Even if movies aren’t your thing, come along for free popcorn, amazing new friends, did we mention the free popcorn?? Replace your Netflix for a moonlight cinema at Monash Northern Plaza.
