Wasteland – a new dance work
Wasteland is a new contemporary dance production inspired by T. S. Eliot’s groundbreaking modernist poem, ‘The Waste Land’. Featuring an exciting collaboration between contemporary dance and original composition, Wasteland interrogates what it means to be hopeful in times of crisis. Reviving dance at MUST, this striking theatrical experience renews Eliot’s portrayal of the “sterility and barrenness of modern culture” (Kristin Ruby) through the lens of climate anxiety.
