Student Advocacy & Support (SAS)

MSA Student Advocacy and Support provides independent, confidential and non-legal advocacy & referral services for Clayton-, Parkville- & Gippsland-enrolled undergraduate students at Monash.

 

We support students with Academic Integrity matters, Academic Progress concerns, issues applying for Special Consideration, lodging complaints against the Uni and much more.

 

MSA Gadget Library

Welcome to the Gadget Library! We're building a collection of useful stuff for you to borrow on campus. Find us in the Student Library (SURLY), upstairs campus centre.

All students can get a 1 day loan, or a 2 day loan with MSA+!

The MSA has partnered with PTV to become an eligible issuer of 7-Day Travel Passes, helping to make it easier for students to engage with their education.

Had a stressful weekend? Or a stressful week ahead? MSA is providing weekly Mindfulness meditation and colouring in sessions.
We are looking for students who are keen to learn how to Crochet and make things for themselves and the student community.

An inclusive area where Monash University students and staff can cultivate their own produce, learn about permaculture, and volunteer.

We will be hosting 3 cooking classes per semester where you'll learn to cook a three-course meal!
The MSA Wellness Challenge is a 21 day exercise that cultivates healthy and positive lifestyle behaviours, such as working out or eating right.
MSA Trips are a great way to meet new people while checking out Victoria. We will be hosting up to 4 trips per year for new and returning students;
Finding ways to increase motivation is crucial because it allows us to change behaviour, develop competencies, be creative, set goals, grow interests, make plans, develop talents, and boost engagement. Sign up for a weekly motivational email.

The Acts of Kindness team provide free small gestures like handing out flowers and other freebies to brighten your day and to show that you are appreciated by your student community.
