Training & Rewards

Pending the role, leaders receive complimentary internal and accredited training. 

Training can include:

  • Food Safety
  • First Aid
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Program Specific Training
  • RSA

MSA Leaders & Volunteers (excluding Club & Societies committee and sub-committee members) also receive an honorarium or volunteer reward points for their time and support. For more information regarding volunteer points, see below.

 

How do I get involved and become a leader at the MSA?

 

Building experience through prior involvement in a department, division or program is an excellent starting point. Starting from entry or mid-tier volunteer or sub-committee roles helps build your skills and application.
